The DC Experiment are an Irish based bands with musicians from Ireland, Hungary and France in the line-up. Each member bringing their own vast amounts of experience to the experiment.
Despite working on an album and new material, The DC Experiment have a very busy gigging schedule popping up all over the country since beginning their live career supporting Nottingham’s finest shoegaze band Amusement Parks on Fire.
The DCs recently recorded 7 tracks with U2 contemporary Andrew Bass in Oblivion Studios, and mixed and co-produced with Ingmar Kiang, who has worked with Damien Dempsey, U2, Courtney Pine, Aswad as well as re-mixing many Bob Marley songs for Island Records.

Started in April 2006 by Shimmy & Carlos Irie, GigEvent promotes live music in all it's glorious forms. Also under the same roof is Irie Ireland, dedicated to pushing Reggae music in Ireland, be it Roots, Dub, Dancehall or Ska.
Currently GigEvent is hosting a showcase every Sunday afternoon at Dublin venue "The Mezz" which is filmed for internet broadcast, and producing other music and comedy video podcasts for online media company mixtape.
