Ophelia is a Dublin based solo hip hop artist actively working stages in Ireland since 2005. It was then that Ophelia and DJ Moschops teamed up to form a fresh & Dynamic hip hop partnership. Ophelia started to work with the talented jazz improvisationists “Redsquare” in early 2007. All forces have now joined together to bring an exciting original show with an underground edge.

Ophelia performs a solo set for mixtape but promises to return with the full band.

FREE GIGS IN THE MEZZ EVERY SUNDAY (4 TILL 9 ) 5 ACTS EACH WEEK, DROP IN, ENJOY A PINT AND GOOD SOUNDS!

Started in April 2006 by Shimmy & Carlos Irie, GigEvent promotes live music in all it's glorious forms. Also under the same roof is Irie Ireland, dedicated to pushing Reggae music in Ireland, be it Roots, Dub, Dancehall or Ska.
Currently GigEvent is hosting a showcase every Sunday afternoon at Dublin venue "The Mezz" which is filmed for internet broadcast, and producing other music and comedy video podcasts for online media company mixtape.
