Dear viewers,

We aim to provide relevant local programming via the web. We believe that sites like mixtape.ie represent the future of broadcasting. The web in now ubiquitous. With almost one quarter of the world’s population online and 1 billion people worldwide sharing information on social networking sites, it seems clear to us that media needs to become personal again.

Mixtape.ie is an attempt to use new technologies (primarily the internet, and low cost media production) to create something best described as an online, local TV and Radio Station. As we grow, our content will become more varied, but remain local and relevant to the people or Ireland.

Mixtape.ie is an important part of our company (AD Brightsky Limited) which exists to put creativity on the internet. We work with Ireland’s best event organisers, sound engineers, bands, and other talented people to achieve that goal. We hope that as we fulfill our goal, you – the viewers and listeners out there – will benefit too.
